  • Many researchers working with genomics technologies face challenges that arise from inherent differences between platforms and protocols used for processing and analyzing same or different samples. Data is annotated using different identifiers and incompatibilities during data reporting emerge making it difficult to validate, compare and assess the technical reproducibility of gene expression results.

In this webinar we will address these challenges using OmicsOffice®, an extension to TIBCO Spotfire® focused on genomics data analysis. OmicsOffice makes it easy to analyze and integrate microarray, PCR, RNA-Seq and Chip-Seq data to identify significant targets that were validated across many platforms and technologies.

We will present an overview of the OmicsOffice Data Integration tool where researchers can quickly integrate and compare genomics results. Specifically, we will examine data from an Illumina RNASeq experiment and compare its ability to identify differentially expressed genes from Affymetrix microarray results.

Additionally, we will present the latest Omicsoffice workflow: Expression Explorer. This guided workflow can assist scientists to easily visualize interactions between different experimental conditions, identify list of relevant genes in the various comparisons performed, and compare their expression levels and functional similarities for differentially expressed genes across multiple experimental comparisons.

    Learn how to:

    • Identify trends and gene expression patterns
    • Find consistency in differentially expressed genes between experiments
    • Compare data from the same or different technologies for validation and new discoveries
