Michelle Walk is a Field Application Scientist at PerkinElmer Informatics and provides demonstrations, pilots, presentations and training across their enterprise solutions. She communicates with customers to discover new ways of using and showcasing PerkinElmer's solutions, to help the market better understand how informatics can improve efficiency of data interpretation and drive better science. She focuses on solutions for High Content Screening, High Throughput Screening, Imaging and other multiparametric data which can include the Columbus Platform, Spotfire, High Content Profiler and Signals for Screening. Signals for Screening is a platform that leverages both on-premise and cloud technologies for management and aggregation of high content images and data, as well as faster multiparametric data analysis to facilitate drug and biomarker discovery. Before joining the PerkinElmer Informatics’ team, Michelle conducted psychiatric disease research at the Broad Institute. While at the Broad, she utilized many of PerkinElmer's software solutions, instrumentation and reagents. She has extensive technological experience in molecular biology, biochemistry and assay development.
