  • BioDraw’s biological templates are intended as a resource for biological illustrators or for anyone creating a biological presentation, publication or webpage. The BioDraw templates are "Clipware", not simple graphic art – which means they can be edited by you to fit your graphic needs. Additionally, the BioDraw templates are not protected by copyright, meaning that one may use them for any commercial or academic purpose without need of citing the source or worrying about legality of use. This article demonstrates how to use the templates and identifies each BioDraw template’s subject. Specifically, we discuss:

    • How to edit BioDraw Clipware objects
    • Identifying BioDraw templates
    • Locating additional templates

    CambridgeSoft’s high-color graphics are new to ChemBioDraw Version 12. Prior to Version 12, one was limited in the number of colors which could simultaneously appear on a ChemBioDraw drawing. That limit is now in the millions, instead of in the dozens .....
